COVID-19: J&J vaccine rollout begins (eNCA)

The first batch of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines arrived in South Africa on Tuesday night.

The South African Medical Association (SAMA) says the vaccine will be administered at 17 sites.

Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital is one of health facilities selected to administer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. 80,000 of the doses arrived on 16 February and healthcare workers will be the first in line to receive the jabs on 17 February 2021.
