COVID-19 TERS system to shut down for scheduled maintenance

The Department of Labour and Employment has issued a notice that the COVID-19 TERS system will be unavailable from 11 September 18:00 until 13 September 20:00 due to scheduled network maintenance.

The notice published on its website, adds that COVID–19 TERS benefit payments will be delayed to mitigate risks identified by the Auditor General in the COVID TERS application system. The fund will release a statement announcing when payments will resume again. 

“Whilst understanding the frustration this might cause, we are committed to paying deserving and authentic workers,” concludes the notice.
