Discontinuation of monthly remittance frequency postponed – BSP Southern Africa

ASATA has received the following communication from IATA:

Dear Travel Agent,

In light of the critical circumstances our industry is enduring as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to inform you of the postponement of the streamlining of remittance frequencies in your BSP.

Important notice

• The discontinuation of the monthly remittance frequency is postponed to 1 June 2020.

• You will therefore be able to remit your payments on a monthly basis for the BSP sales made in May 2020.

• A further postponement of the discontinuation of the monthly frequency after 1 June 2020 will be reviewed again, depending on market conditions and future developments.
