Level 1 travel regulations – Send us your questions

Last Updated on

Following President Ramaphosa’s announcement that South Africa will be moving to Lockdown Level 1 from 20 September and the subsequent re-opening of international borders from 1 October, ASATA has received many queries regarding how the regulations have been amended to accommodate this.

Whilst we await full clarification on the Level 1 regulations relating to travel and tourism, ASATA would like to find out from you what your most pressing questions are.

The questions raised, with responses where possible, will be included in a FAQ guide we are compiling. This guide will try and assist you and your clients with their travel plans as far as possible, using the information ASATA manages to gather. The guide will be updated on a continuous basis as regulations are adapted or changed.
